TRS: Used to deﬁne temperature-time shift for time history viscoelastic analysis.

This option can be used only in conjunction with the

VISCOELASTIC option.

In an ABAQUS/Standard analysis, viscoelasticity must be deﬁned in the time dom ain by using the

VISCOELASTIC option with the TIME parameter.

Optional parameter:

DEFINITION

This parameter applies only to ABAQUS/Standard analyses. In an ABAQUS/Explicit analysi s the

Williams-Landell-Ferry approximation is the only available choice.

Set DEFINITION=WLF (default) to deﬁne the shift function by the Williams-Landell-Ferry

approximation.

Set DEFINITION=USER to deﬁne the shift function in user subroutine UTRS.

Data line to deﬁne the shift function by th e Williams-Landell-Ferry approximation:

To deﬁne a shift function not approximated by the WLF function:

No data lines are used with this option when DEFINITION=USER is speciﬁed. Instead, user

subroutine UTRS must be used to deﬁne the shift function.
